Jeffrey Selan, MD
Jeffrey Selan, MD is an interventional cardiologist committed to the delivery of thoughtful, comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care. Dr. Selan received his Bachelors of Science from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA. He then received his Medical Doctorate from Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then continued his medical training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA for internal medicine residency before completing his general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY.
While at Mount Sinai, Dr. Selan was actively involved in clinical research and authored several manuscripts on complex coronary intervention techniques. He is trained in the most advanced techniques in complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, along with the management of cardiogenic shock including percutaneous support device insertion.
Dr. Selan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He is also board certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) and vascular ultrasound and vascular interpretation by the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement - Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (APCA RPVI).
Dr. Selan is the Associate Fellowship Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
