A message from Dr. Zukerman
Dear Patient,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. After 38 wonderful years of practicing medicine and having the privilege to care for and learn from patients like you, I will retire from my current position at Monmouth Cardiology Associates as of August 15, 2025. This decision comes with mixed emotions, as I have cherished the relationships and moments we have shared immensely.
However, I am excited to announce that I will start a new career chapter on the North Shore of Chicago at Northwestern Medicine. This new position will allow me to be closer to my family and continue my passion for Cardiology by developing a program in Cardio-Oncology.
I want to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and confidence you have placed in me over the years. It has been an honor to be part of your healthcare journey, and I have valued the connections we have built.
Please know that you have my best wishes for continued health and happiness. I will ensure the transition is seamless, leaving you in excellent care with my colleagues at Monmouth Cardiology. If you have an appointment before August 15th, we will discuss your transition to a new provider. If your appointment is after August 15, 2025, the staff will contact you to reschedule the appointment with another provider. If you do not have a future appointment, please call the office and use the Dr. Zukerman rescheduling line, and a staff member will assist you.
Thank you once again for the privilege of being your doctor. I look forward to hearing about your progress and successes in the future.
Warm regards,
L. Steven Zukerman, M.D.
