Welcome, Matthew Henriques, MD
Dr. Henriques completed his Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at NYU Langone Health and his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University.
In addition to his outstanding clinical training, Dr. Henriques has an extensive background in cardiovascular research, with numerous publications and presentations focused on atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, electrophysiology, and device therapy. He is also fluent in Spanish and has been actively involved in community cardiovascular screening and leadership initiatives within the Heart Rhythm Society.
