Michael Macciocca, MD

Dr. Macciocca received his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Dr. Macciocca completed his internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He then continued at Lankenau Medical Center for an additional year of sub specialization in Interventional Cardiology.


He has also been actively involved in research projects while at Temple University and has co-authored numerous abstracts and publications.


Dr. Macciocca is board certified in General Cardiology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is Board certified in Adult Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
